There is a Summer Market due to be held on the sports field at Ridgeway on Sunday the 13th July from 12..00 noon until 5 p.m. It is not the same as the Farmers and Craft Market that has been held for many years. It will not stop club members playing social tennis but parking will be likely to be on the bottom field and not the driveway. In addition thre is a County bowls match/competition taking place in the morning as well so it is anticipated it will be a very busy day.
It is also Wimbledon Finals Day so many members may prefer to watch the tennis. It is unfortunate that the date was fixed without the organising team being aware of the bowls match having already been arranged and the Wimbledon Men’s Finals Day. It may be they would still have gone along with the date.
