The S & D LTA.’s Managment Committee met last week and below is the message from Mark Busby, the Association’s General Secretary:
Dear All,
I hope everyone is well and staying safe.
We had a virtual Committee Meeting recently and in light of the current situation where the end to the lockdown period is not imminent, we are proposing the following for the summer season.
Leagues cancelled until next year (2021):
Late Summer Men’s
Late Summer Ladies’
Saturday Mixed
We have also cancelled the Senior Tournament.
When the restrictions are lifted, we hope to commence the following:
– Complete Winter Knockout Cup and Plate
– Men’s League
– Ladies League
– Mid-Week Mixed
– Rowlinson Cup
This we believe, when we get back to some kind of normal, will give the opportunity to the largest number of players.
A decision regarding the Junior Tournament will be made nearer to the July date.
This proposal will be reviewed regularly as the current situation develops over the coming weeks and months.
