The latest LTA update does not allow for people to travel in or out of a Tier 3 area to participate in tennis activity. The local S & D LTA is obviously adhering to this guidance so it is with regret that those of our club members residing in the South Yorkshire Tier 3 area should not attend the club to play tennis until further notice.
The club, as a Registered LTA venue, cannot be seen to be not adhering to this gudance. Other local sports, such as football, are also having to follow similar guidance of their governing body. Our parent club, Ridgeway Sports and Social Club, could also be in trouble if it sanctioned activity against guidance.
Updates will be provided when we have them. Any other members who reside in Tier 2 area can play but are subject to the current guidance on social distancing and hygiene etc. There will be no more formal social sessions for the foreseeable future.
