Tournaments 2026 – Finals Day 20th September 2026
All members should have received an e-mail about the tournaments for this year 2026.
Each year, we organise a club tournament for members to take part in as a way to introduce some friendly competition amongst members. We’re looking to continue that this year with the same three formats- singles, doubles and mixed doubles. For the doubles your partner will be assigned when the draw happens. All standards are welcome and it would be great to see as many members participating and maybe giving other formats a try.
The only requirement for entry is that you have to be available on finals day on Sunday 20th September. It’s a great day where we have a barbeque and everyone comes to support finalists and enjoy the tennis.
Entry deadlines will be the end 30th April so we can make the draws and get communication out on when matches need to be played by and who you’ll be partnered with and playing against. Last year we had a lot of last-minute matches in the week leading up to finals day so we’ll be looking to avoid that this year. There is an entry fee of £3 per tournament ie if you enter all 3 it will be £9. Payment will be requested after the draws are completed. This is a contribution to the cost of providing the barbecue and trophies.
